| Course contents :
| The course is an introduction to sociology of migration and ethnicity through the study of some of the main texts of the discipline drawn both from Anglo-Saxon and French sociology. | |

| Course objective :
| The aim of the course is to provide the students with a theoretical basis as well as with a global picture of the classical literature in the field of sociology of migration and ethnicity. | |
|  | | |
| Prerequisites :
| A passive knowledge of written and spoken English is indispensable. | |
|  | | |
| Organization :
| The course will use 3 pedagogical tools: - Lecture by the teacher -Seminars based on the reading and dicussion of texts as well as on presentations made by students -Lectures given by foreign guests. | |
