Course objective : This course has two principal goals: on the one hand, to give to the students a set of conceptual tools on what characterizes the scientific activity; and on the other hand, to allow the students to implement in a relevant way a series of qualitative methods such as the participating observation, focus groups or face-to-face interviews.
Prerequisites : None
Workshops : The students will be asked (individually or in small groups) to apply some qualitative methods.
Written notes : None
Assessment : Written exam + workshop (25%)
