| Course contents : | This course aims at describing and explaining the decision process at the European Union level, as well as its evolution from the Treaty of Roma in 1957. A practical application of this decision process will be analysed and criticised, on the basis of a concrete case-study. | |||||

| Course objective : | To get students to understand the decision process, in its legal and political realities | |||||

| Prerequisites : | A basic knowledge of the European institutions | |||||
| ||||||
| Organization : | A workshop, combining a lecture, a debate with questions and answers, and an analysis of sources. First semester. | |||||

| Written notes : | None. Recommended reading: they will be given, if necessary, during the year. | |||||

| Assessment : | Oral exam at the end of the year. | |||||
