Course contents : Quality assurance systems ; accreditation bodies and audit procedure ; documentation ; quality manual ; standard operating procedures ; quality manager ; technique validation ; internal quality control ; internal audits ; corrective and preventive actions ; complaints ; specific goals in clinical laboratoires.
Course objective : This optional course belongs to the program of the orientation "clinical biology" proposed by the 1st "licence" in biomedical sciences. It provides informations on quality assurance systems implementation and development in clinical laboratoires, on the ISO 17025 international standard for assays laboratories and on the ISO 15189 international standard, specific to the medical laboratoires.
Organization : This course is given in the first four-month period, during the first five weeks.
Written notes : Documents (international standards and copies of standard operating procedures).
Assessment : Written examination.
