Introduction to Dynamic Psychology

Course contents : Aims at studying those conscious and unconscious processes and conflicts that characterize the psychic state of the patient. The psychoanalytical theory is reviewed, together with its main concepts such as unconscious, resistance, transference, fantasy, access to the unconscious, structure of the psychic apparatus, theories of instinct, sexuality of children, narcissism, mechanisms of defence¿).
Course objective : Introduce students to the main concepts of psychoanalytical theory and to the psychodynamic conception of personality.
Prerequisites : First Licence course is mandatory.
Organization : The course is evaluated by the students.

Assessment : Written : questions of knowledge and of critical analysis.
