Course contents : The course is intended to the study of the electromagnetic field quantum theory. Some seminars are also presented regarding the Schrödinger cat paradox, the quantum computers and the laser cooling.
Course objective : to understand the quantum electrodynamics theory and some related phenomena.
Prerequisites : Basic quantum physics.
Workshops : None.
Organization : The course is given in the Mathematics building according to the schedule determined by the Institute of Mathematics.
Written notes : A book (in french) is distributed at the beginning of the course.
Assessment : Oral examination.
