Course contents : The aim of the course is to devellop the fundamental principles of functional analysis, in particular the theory of Hilbert and Banach spaces and of linear operators between them.
Course objective : Introduction to functional anlysis.
Prerequisites : Analysis I, Linear Algebra. The cours "Measure Theory" is strongly recommended (although not obligatory).
Workshops : The exercises are given by the assitants.
They will explain the theory by examples and exercises.
Organization : The course is given in the second semester.
Written notes : References will be given during the cours.
Assessment : Oral examination.
