| Course contents :
| There are four chapters :
1) historical and philosophical considerations about mathematics ;
2) generalities about mathematical models ;
3) construction of functions by using experimental ;
4) examples of models in management science. | |

| Course objective :
| To understand how to construct and to use mathematical models for real problmems. | |
|  | | |
| Prerequisites :
| Linear algebra; non-standard calculus for functions with one or several real variables; statistics; probability. | |

| Workshops :
| Exercises in several groups. | |
