Course contents : Reading epic and classic Sanskrit texts and commenting on their grammatical and stylistical features.
Course objective : Familiarizing with reading and translation of epic and classic sanskrit texts
Prerequisites : Explication of epic and classic Sanskrit texts I
Workshops : Preparing the readings. Supervised reading of a Devanágarí Sanskrit text.
Organization : 30 h spread out over the second semester. Timetable set with the students. Opening session in September announced on Section notice board. The attendance is obligatory.
Written notes : Photocopies of Sanskrit texts in Devanágarí.
Assessment : Written test + oral test, in June.
