Course contents : Basic rules of editing - Transmission of texts - A sketch of the history of Egyptology - Bibliography : tools and methodology
Course objective : Basic rules for editing a text - how to start a research in bibliography ?
Prerequisites : The first two years in Egyptology
Organization : 15 hours

Room and schedule : to be fixed in concertation with the students

A written report is due for April. It consists in a preliminary bibliographical investigation in connection with the mémoire.
Written notes : A syllabus with the general bibliography is available.
Assessment : Written and oral exam in May/June
