Course contents : Internet is at the center of a major economic and technological revolution. This course provides students with an in-depth analysis of the key dimensions - financial and technological - of success in the highly competitive internet marketplace. The lectures cover the first of these two dimensions. The key concepts and methods of efficient programming in the dot.net environment are discussed within operational workshops.
Course objective : In-depth study of the internet environment. Financial models and technologies used by successful companies. Programming and development environments.
Workshops : Separate "hands-on-keyboard" workshops cover the operationnal dimensions of internet site developement.
Written notes : Reading list, internet-based case analysis, development workshops.
