| Nature, origin and interpretation of deposits yielding or associated to archeological remains. | |

| Basic knowledge on the deposits yielding archaeological remains for a better understanding in making excavations. | |

| Basic knowledge in geology (course of geology for the 1 bac in geology or for biologists). | |

| Practical works in natural geological sites and in archaeological excavations in order to study and to interprete the different kinds of sedimentary deposits. | |
