Course contents : - The macroeconomic environment : the scale of unemployment, sector/geographic deciphering.
- The labor pool and its shortages vision of an employment research institute.
- The company environment : recruitment, forward planning, career planning.
- Prerequisites for any recruitment action : motive for the demand, job description, job profile, job price.
-Methodology to build a collective and individual profile
- Application research : choice of people in charge, of media, ...
- Legal & ethical framework of recruitment & job offers.
- The right to work & free access, non-discrimination
-Respect of privacy and selection.
-Employment aids :generic approach of subsidies
- Answering a job offer : medium & formulation of the application.
- Exercises in persuading techniques.
- Selection procedures : testing, interviews, basket-tests, assessment centers, psychometric analysis, graphology (professional trials)
-Examinations and tests in the administration
- Reception & integration in case of recruitment. Hiring formalities.
Course objective : This course will help students to :


- understand the labor market, his indicators & its statistical distribution, from a macro/microeconomic point of view.
- discover the socioeconomic stakes of labor (un)employement.
- get used to job application, selection, testing techniques, & integration techniques for the new employee
-learn the marketing tools used in looking for recruitment and employment.
Prerequisites : RH 132 Staff Management
