Course contents : Chronological overview, focusing on representative authors and main literary developments in medieval Flanders and Holland (1000-1600). Analysis of key texts (bilingual: Middle Dutch with full translation in modern Dutch)
Course objective : To provide a framework for the study of literary texts within their proper historical context
Prerequisites : Language level required (Dutch): Intermediate
Organization : Duration: 30 hours, Semester 1 + 2
Where: A2/5/11 (Place Cockerill)
When: Thursday 13.00-14.00
Written notes : Reader
Assessment : Written and oral exam in May/June
