| To master MatLab for geo-environmental data processing purposes
Variographic analysis and modelling of spatially distributed data using deterministic methods and kriging | |

| Organization :
| Each student will receive a personal dataset at least 15 days before the deadline (holidays not incl.) | |

| Written notes :
| Introduction to MatLab, course notes in pdf.
Written explanation of the personal project | |
|  | | |
| Assessment :
| Each student has to submit a written report including the geostatistical analysis and interpretation of the dataset he received.
Evaluation will take the following points into account :
- Quality and exactness of results
- Quality of the comments and deductions
- Structure of the work
- Quality of redaction and presentation
- Understanding of concepts
