Duration :30h Th
Credits/ECTS :
1st year of Master's degree in french and romance languages and literatures, french foreign language orientation,4
Holder(s) :Jean‑Marc Defays
Course contents : The first part of the course introduces the theories (structural, pragmatic, enunciative) and the linguistic tools with respect to the language teaching, regardless of the level of the descriptive, generative or contrastive linguistics, of the socio-linguistics (status and functions of languages) or of psycholinguistics (learning strategies).

The different aspects of language teaching/learning are then considered:

  • textuality,
at both the comprehension and the production levels.

Finally, we stress the theoretical foundations and didactic implications of the communicative and interactionist approaches proposed by contemporary linguistics.
