Course contents :

Anthropological specificities o

5 parts constitute the course: An anthropological outline of the various forms of relations between Nature and Society - Strength and weaknesses of the western scientific approach of nature - The novelty of the environmental risks - Specific approaches to the study of controversies and innovations - The democratic and participative construction of knowledges on nature.

Course objective :

Anthropological specificities o

The ability to frame properly the scientific and expert stakes in relation to thoses of the different stakeholders during environmental controversies.
Prerequisites :

This course is open to both students in experimental sciences and students in social sciences or in humanities.

20 sessions of 3 hours each (mixing courses and collective discussions of articles).

A portefolio constituted of articles and case studies is available.
