Course contents : The objective of this seminar is to develop students' research, presentation and debating skills regarding a particular topic international economics using economic tools.

Topics vary from year to year. Examples of topics include:
- Doha Development Round
- Outsourcing
- Fair trade
- International trade and labour standards
- International trade and child labour
- Trade in services (GATS)
- Globalisation and the access to medicines (TRIPS)
- Developing countries and trade in agricultural products

Students will be asked to write a report on one topic as well as a short summary of the discussions. Evaluation will also be based on the student's participation in the discussions.
