Course contents : Introduction. Stoichiometry. The extent of reaction. Chemical Kinetics. Texture of catalysts. Transport processes with reaction catalyzed by solids. The concept of effectiveness factor. Homogeneous reactor modelling. Heterogeneous reactor modelling. Applications.
Course objective : Notions of applied chemical kinetics, of heterogeneous catalysis and chemical reactor engineering in order to understand processes for catalytic gas cleaning.
Prerequisites : Good knowledge of the basic concepts of the courses of general chemistry.
Workshops : Home works.

Assessment : Home works.
Oral examination.
