1.6 Chemical synthesis of peptides

1.7 Non ribosomal synthesis of peptides

1.8 Post transcription modification of the polypeptide chain



2) Mechanism of protein localization in prokaryotes and eukaryotes



3) Interactions affecting the properties of proteins

3.1 Nature of non covalent interactions

3.2 Intramolecular interactions



4) Conformational properties of proteins

4.1 Secondary and ternary structures of proteins

4.2 Spectroscopic properties od proteins in solution



5) Biophysical properties of soluble and membranar properties



6) Protein-ligand interactions



7) Introduction to enzymatic catalysis
Course objective : The first part of the course will be devoted to the structural and chemical properties of proteins. The secind part will be a introduction on enzymatic kinetics.
Prerequisites : Lectures in genral biochemistry

Thermodynamic and classical physic

Organic chemistry
Workshops : 40 h of practical course
