Course contents : Veterinary "guidance" is defined in the Belgian law as a global strategy, including informations, recommendations, preventative health care, treatments, to obtain an optimal health state. The course details the law content on veterinary guidance and connected laws. Responsibilities of the veterinarians, the principles of Good Veterinary Practice and the implications of veterinarians in herd health programmes are presented.
Course objective : The course presents the legislation and shows the necessity of a integrated approach for a herd medicine.
