2nd year of a Bachelor's degree in politicals sciences5

Course contents : This course is about the specificity (and relevance) of the qualitative methods in social science. However, we will also deal with the question of "what is science". Indeed, we can speak "method" only if we wondered beforehand about the meaning of the scientific approach.
Course objective : This course has two principal goals: on the one hand, to give to the students a set of conceptual tools on what characterizes the scientific activity; and on the other hand, to allow the students to implement in a relevant way a series of qualitative methods such as the participating observation, focus groups or face-to-face interviews.
