Course contents : The concept of « Governance » is used in various contexts at different levels of power. This concept needs to be clarified in order to understand its political implications.

In such issue, the discussion focuses on “new” participative methods such as consensus conference or citizens’ panels and aims to reflect on the relationships between representative democracy and deliberative democracy.
Course objective : -Reflexion on the structures of the State in a complex and uncertain world.
-To acquire a critical analysis.
-Initiation with research topics.

Organization : 2h/week
