Course contents : - History (link between the natural risk management and the formation of the State. - conceptual and methodological Elements:
- definition of the various kinds of uncertainty
- questions raised by the trans-scientists risks
- the paradigm of the analysis of the risk (scientific evaluation - Management - Communication).
- Precautionary principle / prévention
Course objective : Presentation of the conceptual and analytical tools of the analysis of risks (evaluation and management).
Development of the public policies in this field, with an accent on:
- institutional devices of expertise
- the particular object of the technological risks
Prerequisites : English for scientific reading
