Holder(s) :Marc Jacquemain
Course contents : In process.
Course objective : The purpose of the course is to show the link between the social groups (families, political parties, social classes, ..) on one hand and the religious or political ideologies on the other hand. It is thus a question of showing that the ideologies as the systems of ideas, faiths and values are characterized by contents and specific functions in connection with the social groups which bear them and propagate them.

The course also aims at showing that the ideologies are at the same moment systems of conception, description, explanation and interpretation of the determined world, at least partially, culturally and socially. At this end, the course tries to put in evidence the psycho-social mechanisms of support of ideas such as the effects claimed of communication and of situation, the heuristics of judgment and the structures of knowledge (micro-theories and cognitive schematic structures).
