Course contents : Anatomy, physiology, histology, advanced kinesitherapy, and pathology of the thorax/lung system.
Course objective : Integrated approach of the functioning of the respiratory system.
Prerequisites : First-year courses, in particular physiology and general biochemistry.
Workshops : Based on recording lung volumes and on adaptations of the respiratory system to some physiological and physiopathological situations.
Organization : The course consists in a module taught during semester 4 (35 hours of theory, 15 hours of practical exercises).
Written notes : Available at the office of the ISEPK.
Assessment : Written (open long and short answer questions) – June session.
