Course contents : At the beginning of the year, the students receive a list of experiments in which they must chose two. In teams of two students, they must carry out the experiment, write a report and present and defend it orally. Each of the two students is responsible for one experiment and its report.
Course objective : Teach future physicists to prepare a physics experiment, measure, estimate error bars, conclude and write a scientific report.
Prerequisites : None
Organization : No formal lectures. No scheduling.
Assessment : The report and the oral defense are graded. One grade is given for the course.
