Course contents : Thermodynamics: thermodynamic variables (potentials, fields and densities) - entropy - chemical potential - kinetic theory of gases - propagation of heat - diffusion - nucleation - equation of heat - some concepts of physics of the fluids

Electromagnetism: electrostatics - magnetostatic - Faraday - Maxwell's equations - radiation.
Course objective : The purpose of the lecture is to complete the formation in thermodynamics and electromagnetism. Tools from mathematical
physics will be used.
Prerequisites : General physics in year 1. Differential equations.
Workshops : Examples and problems.

Written notes : PDF files available on the web server of the Professor.
Assessment : Optional tests during the academic year.
Written and oral examination.
