Course contents : This is a general introduction to history of philosophy. Opinions of several important philosophers are summarised and expounded. A particular stress is laid on the question of knowledge.
Prerequisites : none
Organization : 1st semester. Monday, 10 AM-12
Written notes : A selection of books is given out during the course. Students also have to read a selection of texts. This anthology is available at the office of the teacher (A1/2/33A).
Assessment : Oral exam in June.
