Course contents : Introductive theoretical aspects to a practical training in clinical pharmacy on hospital wards:

Regulation, organisation, hospital pharmacy missions - Drug distribution system -Medication errors and drug surveillance - drug management of ward stocks - Drug dosage regimen control - Therapeutic drug monitoring - Biological follow up of drug therapeutic and side effects - Antibiotherapy - Switch therapy - Analysis methodology of patient drug profile, practical examples.
Course objective : To develop skills in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.

To develop the capacity to detect and to solve problems related to drug prescription and administration
Prerequisites : Good knowledge of French speaking and reading
Workshops : See "Stage hospitalier de pharmacie clinique"
Organization : Theoretical aspects alternately with practical training in different hospital departments during the first 3 weeks of the 1st semester.
Written notes : Copies of slides and relevant documents.
Assessment : Evaluation of acquired knowledges and skills based on activity report and presentation of a clinical case study
