Gynaecological and genetic pathologies

Course contents : The courses in gynecological PATHOLOGY aim at introducing students to various clinical aspects with adults and children: surgery, anatomo-pathology, radiology, pharmacology, and genetics.
Course objective : The main objective is to provide students with the necessary pathological knowledge and techniques so that they can best act when confronted with gynecological problems.
Prerequisites : Basic knowledge of the following fields is indispensable: embryology, anatomy, physiology, histology, physiopathology, and bacteriology. Advanced knowledge of semiology and propedeutics are essential in order to approach this subject.
Workshops : The practical work carried out in Anatomical Pathology
Organization : The course runs during the first semester and takes place in the CHU lecture halls.
Written notes : Informations in the Vade-mecum
Assessment : Written exam (Multiple Choice Questions) and an oral exam in the framework of a multi-disciplinary exam.
