| Course contents : | The course will be divided into four chapters: Chapter 1: Astrovirus & Calcivirus Chapter 2: Bunyavirus Chapter 3: The Ebola virus and the filovirus Chapter 4: Arenavirus The second part of the course will be devoted to several oral presentations made by the students on various themes in Virology | |||||

| Course objective : | This course will provide to the students supplementary informations on virology. It will also allow to the students to individually search for informations in the litterature and to present them orally. | |||||

| Prerequisites : | Having succeded in the Virology & Immunology course of the previous year | |||||

| Organization : | Theoretical course of 90 min | |||||

| Written notes : | No written notes. The students will receive reference articles, and photocopies of the slides shown during the course | |||||

| Assessment : | The final note will be calculmated on: 1. Answers provided to questions on the theoretical lessons and on the informations given during the orla presentations of the students. 2. The presentation in front of the professor of a scientific article that has been previously sent by e-mail to evey students. 3. The quality of the oral presentations made during the second part of the course. | |||||
