Course contents : The course covers the following topics of mathematical analysis :
  • Functions of a real variable : limit, continuité, derivative, indefinite and integral, Riemann integral,...
  • Ordinary differential equations
  • Functions of several real variables : limit, continuity, differentiation, extrema.
Course objective : Theoretical justification and use of calculus applied to engineering problems.
Prerequisites : Basic notions of mathematics : algebraic equations, inegalities, trigonometry, real and complex numbers
Organization : Lectures : 30 hours - Exercices : 25 hours
First quadrimestre only
Written notes : Analyse Mathématique, E.J.M. DELHEZ (2 volumes). Lecture notes distributed by the AEES.
Assessment : Written examination in January. Students receiving a note less than 12/20 must take the oral examination in June.

Written examination in August/September (retakes).
