| Course contents : | History of assyriology, short description of the available documentation, techniques for edition, presentation of the "tools" in assyriology, initiation to the bibliographic research | ||||||||

| Course objective : | To inform the student about the history and working of the discipline; introduction into the scientific research | ||||||||

| Prerequisites : | The course of Assyro-Babylonian I | ||||||||

| Workshops : | The students will do some bibliographic research and documentary works following the instructions that will be given. | ||||||||

| Organization : | 15 h Room and hours will be decided following the possibilities of the students | ||||||||

| Written notes : | A list of assyriological publications will be distributed during the year. | ||||||||

| Assessment : | Oral examination at the end of the year. The examination has the aim to check the mastery of the edition and the capacity to handle bibliographical tools. | ||||||||
