Course contents : This course will focus on a wide range of texts which will include novels, poems, short stories and plays. Students will learn to write clearly an efficiently and will be introduced to a wide repertoire of strategies for close reading and critical textual analysis.

Prerequisites : a good working knowledge of English
Written notes : A syllabus of stories and poems will be made available to students at the beginning of the year.
