Course contents : Profound study of some authors and of some of their works, specially of these which have not been studied in the explanation of Greek authors.
Course objective : To give to the students a knowledge as wide and open as possible of ancient Greek Literature and of the methods which can be used to study it, specially in its socio-cultural context.
Prerequisites : A degree of candidate in classical languages and literatures or chosen course as an option which is in the program of that section and, for free students, minimal knowledge of ancient Greek.
Organization : How long? 30 h, 1st and 2nd semesters (every two years)
Where and when? Monday from 9.30 to 10.30.
How? Ex cathedra teaching with discussions and answers to questions.
Written notes : The texts of the studied authors.
Assessment : Oral examination.
