Course contents : Epics, lyric poetry, tragedy, comedy, philosophy, history, rhetoric, sciences and technics, novels are given a diachronic characterization based on the main ancient Greek authors and writings through time and space.
Course objective : Introducing the students to the historical background of the origin, development and evolution of the literary genera evidenced in ancient Greek language.
Prerequisites : good knowledge of French language

Organization : 30 h, 1st quadrimester
