Course contents : Every second year either an ancient Greek prose-writer's or an ancient Greek poet's keywork is commented and translated, in addition to private reading on another topic.
Aims: 1) introducing the students to the selected author and his piece of writing, with respect to LCLA-0016-1 (History of ancient Greek Literature); 2) strengthening the students's knowledge of ancient Greek language (grammar, vocabulary, stylistics); 3) stimulating the students' interest in ancient Greek language and literature.

Prerequisites : Basic knowledge of the ancient Greek language
Organization : 60 h, 1st and 2nd quadrimesters.
