Course contents : Actual communication will be achieved through texts about practical life in Japan . Some text topics will be : how to apply for a job in Japan, a complex contract, how to rent an apartment in Tokyo, the Japanese transportation system, etc.
Texts will be followed by rigorous exercises on grammar & the recently acquired vocabulary.
After each class, students will take part in a discussion in Japanese on the topics found in the text.
Course objective : The course will allow students to integrate the grammar structures & vocabulary in communication & to speak about the different topics of texts & news from Japan in Japanese
Prerequisites : LANG 237 Japanese ( 1st year and 2nd year)
Basic knowledge of the grammatical rules + 300 kanjis
Organization : Oral & written exercises based on the vocabulary & grammar found in texts.
Discussion on the different topics found in texts & on Japanese news.
