Techniques for cells and tissue cultures

Course contents : The course is subdivided in the following way:
- The cell in culture: environment, primary cell, lines, contaminations, cloning.
- Methods of separation, characterization
- Tests of cytotoxicity.
- Specialized techniques.
- Methods of tissue engineering.
Course objective : The philosophy of the course of culture of cells is to communicate to the students the basic techniques used for the culture of animal or human cells, in vitro so that the latter are able to cultivate cells .

The objective continued are:
- maintenance of the viable isolated cells or the functional units apart from the organism;
- application of good laboratory practice;
- handling, which constitutes the best training for the student.
Prerequisites : Good knowledge in cellular and tissue biology

-Observations (phase contrast microscopy)
