| Course objective :
| - To understand basic notions about data bases and their application in management.
- To be able to use a management data base in a company or organisation.
- To be able to develop a data base related to the management of one or several people. | |

| Organization :
| Lectures alternate with workshops using a database general system. Students will work in groups and develop a small management application on a freely selected issue. | |

| Assessment :
| - Test on PCs to assess students' ability to use a DBGS. - Group assignment: written report and oral presentation. - Oral examination . | |
