Course contents : This seminar covers the general structure of internet-based decision support systems aimed at managing the flow of information, analyzing its content and controlling the decision process. Students are required to develop a prototype intelligent management system in their field of interest: marketing, finance or human resources management, for example. Through this project, they sharpen their skills in the selected area as they contribute to the diffusion of useful managerial knowledge on the internet.
Course objective : Develop a prototype decision support system available on the internet.
Organization : Exposés, suivi des projets de développement
Written notes : Lectures, internet development workshops, term project.
List of readings, articles and chapters, research and development notes.
Reference internet sites.
Assessment : Class contribution. Development of a prototype intelligent management system available on the internet.
