Course contents : Origins and development of political, legislative and juridical institutions in Europe and the United States.

ULg is a French-speaking University situated in a French-speaking area. The courses will, of course, be delivered in French, as well as the text-books, written and oral examinations, papers and reports. Foreign students are expected to master the language first.
Course objective : Show how the socio-economic context and individuals have influence on the shaping of institutions and make their everyday working more understable.
Organization : Durée et période : 45h ex cathedra.

Lieu d'enseignement et horaire : dépt. des Sc.Historiques, mardi de 14h à 16h. (1er semestre), de 14h à 15h (2e semestre) (uniquement les années impaires).
Assessment : Eventuellement, interrogation facultative dispensatoire (février) sur une partie du syllabus. Examen oral en juin.
