| Course contents :
| The great population growth which had begun with the industrial revolution ended in the twentieth century, as well as a period of wealth of human ressources. A period of demographic poverty has begun: the great transition has been achieved. In order to understand this evolution, this course examines the role of natural factors (natality and mortality) and of migratory moves (in- and outmigration) from the Ancien Regime until now. It sheds light on the specificity of each European country. | |
