Course contents : The territorial formation of the United States, the development and particularities of institutions.

ULg is a French-speaking University situated in a French-speaking area. The courses will, of course, be delivered in French, as well as the text-books, written and oral examinations, papers and reports. Foreign students are expected to master the language first.
Course objective : Make the students familiar with all aspects of political life, ethnical conflicts and official and private ethics in the US history.
Organization : Durée et période : 30 h ex cathedra.

Lieu d'enseignement et horaire : dépt. Sc. historiques, horaire à convenir.
Assessment : Oral examination in June.
