| European colonization overseas from the 14th century to 1960. | |

| Course objective :
| Place the colonialist phenomenon in context and slow the origins of to-day political and cultural areas in the world.
ULg is a French-speaking University situated in a French-speaking area. The courses will, of course, be delivered in French, as well as the text-books, written and oral examinations, papers and reports. Foreign students are expected to master the language first. | |
