| Course contents :
| Part 1 : creation and use of databases with Access. Presentation of the computing methods used for historical evidence. Part 2: creation and use of databases with Excell. Learning of statistical methods for the analysis of historical evidence: simple statistics, regressions and correlations, multivariate analyses. | |

| Course objective :
| This course is devoted to the learning of computing methods applied to historical evidence, either qualitative or quantitative. A practical introduction to Access (relationnal database management system) and to Excell (electronic spreadsheet program) is involved. This course also introduces students to descriptive analysis. | |
