Course contents :
  • the digestive tract
  • the digestive glands: the liver and the pancreas
  • the urinary system
  • the respiratory system
  • the skeletal, muscular and articular systems
Course objective : The objectives are to understand how the basic tissues are associated and establish functional relations into organs and to establish relations between the stucture and the function at the cellular and tissular levels.
Prerequisites : General histology
Workshops : The objectives of the seminars are to establish links between different disciplines: students have to analyse a scientific paper and to answer questions relative to this paper.
Organization : The lectures are given during the Q4 for the 2d year of bachelor in Pharmaceutical Sciences (4 hours per week during 5 weeks).

CD-ROM with the slides of the lectures available for the students.
Assessment : Written examination
