Course contents : Study of the main tissular groups:
- Epithelial tissues
- Connective tissues
- Muscle tissues
- Nerve tissues
Study of the lymph organs
Course objective : This course aims to introduce basic knowledges in histology.
Prerequisites : General biology, basic chemistry and physics.
Workshops : Practical cursus are organised at the level 0 of the "Tour de Pathologie" CHU, Sart-Tilman
Organization : Quadrimester 3
Written notes : The volumes 1, 2, 3 of the Human Histology course (Professor E. Heinen, edition 2003) are available at the AREM.
Assessment : Oral examination on the theory; pratical examination slides under the microscope.
