| Course contents :
| A different theme is developed each year: the major archaeological sites in Greece; Greek architecture: construction techniques and excavation material; archaeology of the sanctuary of Delphi; funerary archaeology of the Aegean World: recent discoveries. | |

| Course objective :
| The objective of the course is the in-depth study of one aspect of the archaeology of the Greek World. Emphasis is principally on problems of methodology and a concrete example is often, in the second part of the course, the subject of a detailed examination that highlights its specific details (inventory of elements of a monument and principles of architectural rebuilding and reconstruction, aspects of a study intended for publication). | |

| Basic knowledge acquired during the first cycle. | |

| Organization :
| Duration and period: 60 hours (1st and 2nd quarters). Classroom and schedule: Auditorium A4/S/100 (building A4), Thursday, 4-6 pm. | |

| Written notes :
| A specific bibliography is recommended during the first class. | |

| Assessment :
| Oral examination at the end of the year. Exam session in June. The exam allows an evaluation of knowledge acquired as well as the ability to synthesize and present the material. | |
